How can I stop notepad.ini from starting up?

I looked at the start menu etc, but can't work out what file it's related to..

click start button>run>type "msconfig"(without " ")>ok
go to start up tab
and uncheck that program u want to stop....and apply it and restart ur system

Go to start.
Run
Type msconfg
Look in startup untick what you dont want to startup!

just change the extension i.e from ... .INI to .TXT......and it will work......
