I am a bartender at a martini bar... We have 25 different martinis. http://www.thevelvet-hammer.com/758993.html
My favorite would have to be the French Martini or the Pineapple Upside down cake... (tastes just like it)

French:
1oz vodka
3/4oz Chambord (raspberry liquor)
1/4 oz Grand Marinier (or triple sec)
4oz Pineapple Juice
2oz Sweet and Sour

Pineapple Upside Down Cake:
2oz Vanilla Vodka
1/2oz Frangelico
Fill with Pineapple juice
Drop a cherry in the bottom of the glass

My favorite from my childhood memory bank ( we had every christmas morning ) 1 cup of Seagrams Seven, 1 cup of Creme de Cocoa, 1 cup of heavy creme. Put ingredents in shaker with ice and shake until ice forms on outside of shaker. Serves about 4. My grandfather would make this for us every christmas. Even as kids we were allowed to have a little glass. I think Mom thought it would calm us down a little. These are called Brandy Alexanders, even though no brandy is used in them. I guess you could use brandy if you wanted to, but Gramps preferred the Seagrams. Happy Holidays.

How about the Vesper, which appears in Casino Royale?

3 measures of Gordon's gin
1 measure of vodka
½ measure of Kina Lillet

Shake until ice cold and serve in a deep champagne goblet with a large thin slice of lemon peel.

Otherwise a classic dry martini always does the trick.

Pink Kangaroo--(lovely colour as well) lol
RECIPE
-----------
1 pint glass, drop of advocaat, drop of blackcurrant juice (the undiluted stuff), drop of lime cordial, cider and vodka (about 2 measures of each) and fill up remainder of glass with lemonade, cocktail shaker or equivalent to give a good shaking to it all (watch it doesn't froth over) then ready to drink really nice, I went to Ibiza earlier this year and was allowed to make one in one of the English bars and it got added to their cocktail list. Probs was scrubbed off when we left though lol.
