My mom said she saw them when she was in Mexico, does anyone know if I can get them anywhere in the US?

I don't know exactly which store sells them, but I do know that when I worked (for a very short time) at Taco Bell at a theatre in Alberta, just-add-water refried beans were the one the restaurant used.

Not as gross as the "meat" they used, though.

In Canada,not sure if Ole El Paso is avail there, they make the package taco stuff. They makes a tin of these. you don't need to add anything. maybe a bit of water though since really thick coming out of the can. Really all it seems to be is pork &beans refried and refried.

Fantastic brand makes some. Their products are usually found in the healthfood section of your grocery or in health food stores.

try stores that specialize in camping and outdoor stuff, they have lots of food that are reconstituted with water.
