my husband and I want to take our new borm son to see his grandparents and because we are both 23 and not 25 we have to pay $15.00 a day plus the regular cost, and I wanted to know why was that.

Statistically speaking younger people are more likely to get in accidents (usually because of showing off to friends). While it certainly isn't that in your case (being that your significant other and your child are in the car), you have had the unfortunate luck of being grouped with those who do do that. After 25 it is generally considered that the person has grown to a point where he no longer feels the need to show off to friends about what he can do speed-wise.

Because under-25s have a worse insurance loss record than over-25s. Simple fact of life.

Because anyone under 25 is considered higher risk for accidents.

high risk for driving offences accidents ect... and you did not get the mil... discount next time ask for it and bring your mil... ID
