I've always wanted to do this so now I am. For those of you who think it's wrong, please don't respond. I've got a little hair on the chest and pretty hairy legs and I'm going to pose nude for a fotographer. Most other pictures I've seen the guys are hairless. Should I or shouldn't I shave off all my hair?

well....as a photographer i would say no, but It does depend on what the style of the photographer is and even the mood of the shot.If it is more of a fine art shoot, then go as you are, maybe trim your pubs a bit.....but if its more of a fashion shoot then go smooth and a bit glossy, try silky lotion.good luck, let me know how it goes.

Hi there, Well I am an art student myself but I have not been posing in that kind of way. But what I want to assure you is that it is perfectly normal for an art teacher to take pictures as they go on. These would be used for finishing touches if you are not there to pose and it will help by giving the teacher more details that he may be missing when you are posing (you don't really see everything when you are painting something in front of you) until after wards you see a still picture. My art teacher takes photos along the way for reflection purposes and stuff and they would usually do that its normal trust me

Well for me,I'm don't think U have to shave before U posing nude to take the photo.I'm benn taken myself a nude photo.I'm didn't shave before I'm doing it.After shaving the hair is not the 100% of U anymore.Just be natural while taking the nude photo of U.Trust the fotographer who take the photo for U.I'm do believe he/she will teach U the best pose that he/she to shoot.

Don't shave if you don't normally shave. It's alittle fake and I'm sure the photographer wants your natural everyday self. Besides if you shave you may get razor bumps and that wouldn't be a very good shot OR very comfortable.
Alot of male models are hairless but in actual artistic phtography I'm sure most men are just natural.

Get waxed. Seriously. If you shave, you have to do it days before. Because you may get razor burn and by the time the shoot arrives, you'll have stubble. Go to a salon, don't worry, men go in all the time. Get a wax and then get some of that lotion stuff that slows down the hair groth process, in the beauty secton. be warned, the wax is hot but not blistering hot. And if you use the lotion, wait a couple of days for you skin can relax. you don't want to irritate it any more than you have to.

I dont think that is at all necessary, photographers like to capture realness, and the human body in its natural form. (usually) If the photographer you are posing for didn't tell you to do otherwise I would not remove it.

Models who are smooth shaven are usually high fashion of fitness models, where as models who appear in art photography are almost always not heavily groomed.

hey. most likely you want to be yourself. however, depending on the purpose of this shoot you might want to look in a certain way. say you need it for an agent for casting, then you might be expected to look in a certain way. if its for your own fun,... who cares?! of course shaving your pubics on your balls is reccomended for hygene purpose, regardless of photo shoots or not. most of all, enjoy!
ps. don't let the photographer push it or try anything unless you really want it!
