It is a complex relationship...that trinity thing...Start with the first chapter of the Gospel of John. It is a good place to start. For my simple mind...God the father in heaven, God the son on earth and God the spirit in me.

Yes, they are two separate Persons.
There is ONE God and only ONE God.
He revealed that He (God) eternally exists as three distinct and separate Persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus said: The Father and I are one.
He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.
Yet, at Christ's Baptism the three Persons are all Manifested. Jesus comes up out of the Jordan, the Voice of the Father is heard from Heaven, and the Spirit descends in the form of a Dove.
The Apostles were told to baptise "in the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit".
Robert has a son Allan who has a son Henry who has a son Quincy. They are four separate and distinct individual persons; yet they all are "human"
Now, as to the Trinity: there is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. they are three separate and distinct individual Persons yet they all are "God". Not three Gods, just One God. They all are of the same ESSENCE.

God is the father, and Jesus is the son. It sounds like a lot of confused Christians are out there. It probably has something to do with the Trinity.
The New Testament does not use the word "Trinity", but only speaks of God (often called "the Father"), of Jesus Christ (often called "the Son"), and of the Holy Spirit, and of the relationships between them. The word "Trinity" began to be applied to them only in the course of later theological reflection.

Jesus is the Son of God and is part of the God head trinity that includes God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit or the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. They are individual but tied together spiritually as what we refer to as the Trinity of God. God is the Father, the creator of all things and one who cannot tolerate sin. Jesus is the Son of God who came in the flesh and also referred to as the Son of Man; He died for our sins as the only acceptable sacrifice for man's sin (He lived a perfect life). The Holy Spirit is the still small voice that provides the spirit to our hearts as Christians, and is our communication loop to God through Jesus Christ. It is complicated to understand, but, then, God is a complex being to understand for our limited minds.

Jesus is the Son of God and he is God. Jesus is the manifestation of God in the flesh. He currently resides in heaven fully God and fully man IN THE FLESH. The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are inseparable because they always agree as one---they never disagree, therefore they are inseparable. Thus, Jesus is God. Also, the Bible says that the Father has handed all authority over to the Son, which makes him God. Jesus always acts in the capacity of God.

In Christianity there is one God. However, that God can manifest Himself in one of 3 ways (trinity). As father (1), or as son (2) , or as holy spirit (ghost) (3).
All 3 always existed. Jesus represents the 2nd person of the triune God. However the 2nd person existed before Jesus was born. It is complicated, you will not understand-as I do not either. No one does. Don't let it bother you.

Yes, Jesus is the Son of God.
Yes, Jesus Christ is God.
The nature of the trinity is three persons in one Godhead. There are volumes written about the trinity even though the word "trinity" never apears in scripture.
In the beginning the Word already existed. He was with God, and he was God. He was in the beginning with God. He created everything there is. Nothing exists that he didn't make. Life itself was in him, and this life gives light to everyone. The light shines through the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

according to the bible he was the son of god, and thusly part of god. as time goes on, stories change depending on the people telling the stories and the mindset of the listeners.
one day people will claim that he was an alien. oh wait, some people today claim that.
all these questions about god and jesus are completely pointless because there is no answer that can be found now or on earth. if you believe in an afterlife then either all your questions will be answered or it won't matter to you because you are in perfect union with god (or the source or love or whatever).
leave the questions of god alone. enjoy life.

Scripture states that Jesus is the son of God
But it also says in Hebrews 1:8 That God called His son (Jesus) God.
they are different but one in the same.
I know it's mind blowing. The Father, Son and Holy Spirit are a 3 in 1 person.
