What is Equipoise and can it be used on dogs?

A guy injected my dog with Equipoise and he told me that it would make get heat quicker

I believe the first poster meant to say anabolic steroid, and that would be correct.

it is an anabolic steroid. People use it sometimes too. I don't know that I would have let anyone other than a vet inject my dog with something so open to abuse.

Not sure why he thinks this would work. Everything I find shows it as a body building tool. Try the attached link.
