I am going through a lot of change right now. I am depressed as as a result of being depressed I have been eating ALOT of processed salty foods candies and sweets. Well.............. now it has come back to bite me in the backside because in the past 4 months I have had health problems like stomach virus, back pain, gas, itegestion, mingaines, fatigue and tiredness. I am also very schoked and appaled of how much I weigh. I went up 10 sizes from 20 years ago and I am at least 75 pounds overweight.

I need help! I dont want to get diabetes like my dad has (he is thin).
I am going on a healthy way of eating and I stopped driking sodas,
can you reccoemd high protien and good healthy carbs to eat and how to wean my self off the bad foods little by little.?
My husband is thin and healthy and people to judge. I have let my self go even though I dress nice I look olde than my age.

It will honestly take at least 2 years to lose the weight, how can I do this without bieng discouraged?

Honestly, from what you wrote you are already on the right path. You already know exactly what to do.

Stick to lean meats and veggies. Splurge on something once a weak. You have to splurge (Just once though) otherwise you will go nuts.

Start exercising. Start by walking as far as you can go. Quicken your pace a little every week. You need to keep your heartrate up for at least 30mins. It may feel like you can go no further, but your body is amazing and can do more than you think. Keep pushing and never let up.

if you're looking for a good plan, I can vouch for weight watchers.

Since I got off weight watchers, I gained all the weight back (I was depressed, lost my job, father died and I ate like crap). Now, I'm working on just eating better. I've been blogging on extrapounds.com and they have some really useful tools there.

Good luck! drink lots of water and remember each day why you're doing this.
