You're looking at 22-28 hours one way depending on airline and route from London to Brisbane (regardless of whether you fly west or east). Assume an average of 50 hours to travel round the world in the same direction with a stopover in Brisbane.

hard to give a definite accurate answer. The plane will most likely stop for refuelling in Asia and you may even have to change planes, so you could have a few hours interruption to the flight. This is the case with most flights going eastwards from London. Taking that into consideration, it will vary between 25 and 28 hours. Could be longer if you have to wait ages at an airport on the way there. Don't know how long it takes going via USA, but I think it is longer that way. It is very uusual to go that route to Australia-only really happens on a round the world trip if you're stopping off in Hawaii or Latin America for instance.
