How long do you casually date someone before deciding to get into a serious relationship? Do it take a month, 3 months or does it depend on the individuals involved.

It certainly depends on the people involved in my opinion. I have a friend who actually asked a girl to marry him on their third date. This was about 33 years ago and son of a gun out of all the couple at that time they remain the only ones still together. But this does not happen that often, at least that I am aware of, and they are the fortunate ones. Most people like to see the other for a while and get to know them better before deciding if they would like to become more involved with each other.

That all depends sweetie, at least give it enough time to really get to know the other person and make sure this is someone you would like to consider being in a serious relationship with. When you both feel truly comfortable with eachother, and things have been going well for a decent amount of time..Go for it.

depends on the person, each of us are different, some think it is right away, others might wait 6 months to say they are in a serious relationship.

I think that every realationship is different.. some may take a little longer than others.. and then there are some people that just know that the person is "the one" and meant to be with.... so it all depends on you and the person that you are dating.....

If there is any real attraction I think it would be very difficult to keep in casual for even a month. And, in my mind, if you are casual for a month or longer, chances are it'll never go any further.

Usually about 2 months... but Im different than most men, I very rarely just ask a woman to be my girl, I just let it happen naturally so that when we look back, we can just say that we have always had love for one another, not that the love 'turned on' on a specific day.

depends on the individual and what they want.
it can take a few weeks, a month all the way up to year or more....you can't base it on a time frame

First date January 1st, I got engaged in April and married in November, so from 1st date to marriage in 11 months!!! and we are getting ready to celebrate 10 years!

I have been with my girl for 9 months and it has been fine. Still in high school. I think thing will keep on going
