Yes, it is perfectly safe to have sex, as long as there isn't any unusual problem that would make pre-term labor a possibility. The baby knows when to be born, and is perfectly safe inside mom's womb. It won't hurt mom either, but some extra lube might be necessary cuz it can get drier. The ejaculate contains oxytocin, which is the only scientifically proven way to bring on labor (in fact, they use an artificial form of it in the hospital to induce difficult labors called pitocin)... but like I said before, in normal healthy pregnancies this is not a concern, as the baby knows when it's time to "come out!" Have fun! (It's great not having to worry about birth control!!!!!!!! Teehee!) Give momma lots of extra (nonsexual) affection and tell her how beautiful her new pregnant body is! She'll love to hear that!!!

Cons- You don't have a permenant person to count on if you get pregnant (girls). It's easier to tell your boyfriend/husband, and easier for a man to receive the news from a girlfriend, then to hear/tell a booty call. You run the risk of catching more diseases. You don't have a real partner, just a sex mate. You may end up getting used.

Pros- You can have sex, and then leave if you want. You can sleep with whoever you want to and not have to answer to anyone. When you go over their house, you know exactly what you're there for.

So you want a friend with benefits? Someone to hang out with a bit, and have sex? Fine...do what you want...be careful of emotional ties developing.

Jealousy issues? Why? Because they have sex with other people? If it's a "benefits" relationship and not a dating relationship, then no jealousy will be involved...if there is jealousy, then there's already too much emotion for it to be a "friends with benefits" situation.

As long as you weren't told you were the only one and you just found out that you are not. If the other person was up front about that from the get-go, then there shouldnt be any problems right?

I had this in high school... Sex buddy. I was having sex with this ONE guy but still dating others. It was fun, and definitly easier than putting out to other guys. PLUS, I was never serious with any ONE guy in high school so I didnt have to worry about hurting anyones feelings.

Sure its o.k. Some people even prefer that type of relationship. You may have to adjust your expectations, though, when 'dating' someone this casually. They don't owe you emotional support, or monogomy.

I'm way to wigged out about diseases to have casual sex. 80% of women have STD's now.
