I've tried Match.com with great success, but would like to know if any of the other online dating services are worth the price? Are there any I haven't mentioned that are worthwhile?

I did eHarmony. I signed up for three months (my subscription actually just ended today, I think). While it was a little more expensive than I would've liked, I think it was worth it. I was looking for a serious relationship, and shortly after I paid for the service, I met a guy on there. We went through the guided communication (you exchange multiple choice questions, short answer questions, and a list of Must Haves and Can't Haves) before open communication, where you email through the site. After doing that, me and this guy exchanged screennames... then phone numbers... and finally met up a couple of times. We're not officially together, but I like to call him my "almost boyfriend" :)

I was really happy with my experience at eHarmony, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serious relationship (who's also willing to fork over the money for it).

I have done Match and Yahoo. I've met some great friends and dated some great and not so great guys. The stories I've been able to share with friends have been an awesome way to give them a laugh. Just be honest with your answers, photos, and be creative. Don't just say " likes to dress up or dress down" or "Love to exercise". OK where are you dressing up to go/dressing down to go. What do you like to do to exercise?

If you like to Rock climb say so. Make it to broad and you don't look sincere.

I'd take the match.com route right now, fewer people start dating on line during the Holidays so your competition is smaller and they have that 6 month guarantee thing.
