Someone told me that I can get my 2005 W-2 from the IRS, but where are they in South Florida? What is the procedure? How long does it take to get a copy from the IRS?

I don't know about actual W-2s, but the link below has instructions for ordering a 'tax transcript'. This shows the information from the original account and is free. An actual copy of the return can be purchased for $39.00. The page mentions the 1-800-TAX-1040 phone no. They should be able to answer any further questions.

you can go to the local IRS office. I can't help you about where it is in your town.
They should have the form lying on a table. You just pick them up.
