I'm 16 years old, and I recently got a haircut. My friends at school noticed that I have gray hair! Why is that!?! None of my brothers and sisters have gray hair (older). Is it stress???? or something!!! I'm kind of freaked out now; does this mean I'm gonna die early! Please help ='[

I did came out more like my mom, she has a lot of gray hair and she's 46. My dad is bald. Ummm, before I cut my hair I used tons of gel to keep my hair still..

My grandma started going gray at 16. It just happens to some people. Don't worry about it, you're not the only one. My roommate in college had salt and pepper hair at age 26. It doesn't mean you're going to die young, it just means your hair freaked out. If you get more and more gray hair, and it bothers you, dye it. My grandma was totally white by the time she was 20, but the cool thing about that was she got to choose any hair color she wanted after that.
I have another friend who has a white patch of hair on his head, it's always been there since birth, like a birth mark. It may not be very common, but don't panic, you're not the only person who has gone gray young. Just think of it as an excuse to experiment with hair colorings!

I had a friend who had gray hair at 15. Your not going ot die early. Don't worry about it. My dad started to go gray around the same age and he started to lose hair at 20. He's still ok! It's just the genetics kicking in. Ask your mom or dad if there is a history in your family of people going gray at a young age.

I had gray hair at 12. It's no big deal. My doctor said mine was from stress, but sometimes it's also caused by physical damage to the hair follicles. I doubt it means you'll die early, but if it does I'll die first so just keep an eye out for my obituary. By the way, I like mine. I always wanted a Lily Munster streak.

No, you are not going to die early. My husband and I have had gray hair since we were 15 & 17. In my case it's hereditary and in my spouses it just happened naturally. It's not stress at all. In my opinion it is a sign of maturity, but in reality it's just nature.

Some people just go gray early. My coach went completely gray at 16. You can either dye it to cover it up or work it, and buy alcohol for all of your friends.

No, it just means you have gray hair. Some people get it early in life. Only thing you can do is dye your hair. My wife has had gray hair since she was 12.

My dad started graying at 15. He's kinda been gray ever since. But all of his kids (including me) all have colored hair. It just depends when your body stops producing the pigment in your hair.

Dont worry about it everyones hair is different. As other ppl mention maybe ur foks grew gray hairs early. one advise dont dye your hair eventually if you dye it the chemicals will make
your hair to get damage and then you will grow even more gray hairs. Leave it alone trust me.

You're not going to die early. If that was the case, I would have been on my death bed since birth since I was born with a 2 inch chunk of grey hair. It just means you've got gry hair. If it bothers you, dye it!

It is the pigment in your hair it is nothing to worry about a friend of mine was completely grey when he was 18 years old, nothing to worry about and some woman find it very attractive and nice.
The thing to remember is:
There may be snow on the roof but there is warmth in the fireplace.
