So, my girlfriend and I were having sex in the shower. The water was very warm (not HOT, but very warm), and we were both aroused from foreplay. When I penetrated her doggy-style, she said, "ow, ow, ow," and I immediately pulled out. Afterwards, her shoulders and upper body started shaking rapidly and she was spitting, while smacking her forehead against the side of the tub. This happened for about two seconds until I pulled her back. She apologized, saying she "fell asleep," and swore she had been unconscious for at least ten minutes (when it was only a matter of seconds). She also said she had a dream about rubbing her head against the tub--not banging it.

Is this a seizure, and/or why might this have happened?

Tell her to go see a doctor and get a check up. It could be her blood pressure. Do you know if she is anemic?

Sounds like a tonic-clonic episode to me (More commonly known as a grand-mal seizure).

Sounds like she knows about them but has not wanted to share that information with you.

These are usually quite easily treated with medication - like Dilantin or Phenobarbital.

She may have had too much blood running to her head and that and the heat may have caused it. She needs to speak to her doctor about this.
