What are my rights, as far as information is concerned, if my car was towed? I wanted to know what time it was towed but wasn't sure if I'm legally entitled to that information.

it wasn't towed by the police, nor was it a repo. the reason for it being towed is irrelevant. i just want to know what time it was towed.

the company that towed my car keeps changing times and their story. i wanted a written statement with the time that the car was towed and for what reason. basically a detailed log of why, when, and where

I think you're missing the point, bubba.
I simply want to know what time my car was towed. THE END OF STORY.
I don't need you to preach me on what I should do with my car or my legal rights. I only want an answer to my question:
Am I legally entitled to obtain information, specifically the time that it was towed, when my car was towed?

When I picked up my car, there was NOTHING on the paperwork stating why my car was towed or when.
I see that as a huge problem. If my car was unjustly towed, how will I be able to defend myself without proper evidence?
