I don't want to take ANYthing from ANYbody. What I'd REALLY like to see everybody do is roll back down to Mexico, take what they've learned in OUR country, and apply it. Mexico's SOOOO close to being able to stand up and do the Right Thing, here, and take care of their own. They mainly just have to decide that they've GOT to do it, and get it done. There's no reason on god's green earth that they couldn't just get home, set up, and MAKE a lot of good things happen, just I don't think they really want to leave. If they'd do that, then they'd really and honestly be helping all the poor people that come running in every year, and that's how we end up at chapter 432 of a very boring, very predictable soap opera called The History Of The US/Mexico Border.
I support helping Mexico, but helping Mexico to Do Right, which is to get their own economy going, to get their own infrastructure built, to take their own initative, and to do that instead of everybody just bolting for the United States.
People commit crimes mainly because they've run out of other options. Some truly are maniacs, and incorrigibles, and they deserve a seat in the Big House. But, if people could make it on their own, likely they'd never get involved in all this garbage to begin with. Unfortunately, a lot of people have gotten involved in crime, because it DOES pay, at least it does the way we've been maintaining our borders these last 20 years. So, you tune up the borders, make em right, and I think you'll see a lot of stuff go away that was happening before. I think we also need to localize manufacturing. It's more efficient if you're not shipping stuff 1/2way around the world etc. You get americans producing goods for americans IN america, mexicans producing goods for mexicans IN mexico, so forth, and so on. Import raw materials etc., but other than that localize your manufacturing so as to lessen transport costs, fuel usage, and so forth. In an efficient economy, in theory at least, there wouldn't be all that much imports etc., because you'd be making what you need/use locally.
What we have now is inefficient, imagine in the case of the illegal aliens if your 'commute' was 700 miles or more.
Mexico's GOT a 1 trillion dollar economy. That's very positive.
But, they need to figure out how to BOOST it, legally, to the point where they can really start investing in the things that'll support all their people.
There's a lot of problems with today's status quo, the best fix for the ones between our country and mexico and canada would be to fix the borders. Do that, and I think a lot of other things will straighten themselves out, too.
I'm against illegal immigration, period. If you're in the country illegally, that's criminal trespass, right there. But, as long as businesses keep hiring people in violation of the law, people will come seeking jobs. So, stop the illegal hiring, make it really really hard to get into the country illegally to begin with, and you'll have fixed some things.
The world isn't perfect, and there's no magic wand to wave over other people's problems, or our own for that matter. Comma. There are some fundamental basic principles that can be successfully observed and applied, and one of those is that spending 1/2 your energy just getting to work is pretty wasteful.
I support helping Mexico, but in much more structured ways,
they have a big cement company, cement can pour foundations for homes, they have many people seeking work, they've got money, like I say what I think is lacking is the will to do it.
The border fence kind of has one purpose, to help them find the will to do for themselves, and not have every one of their problems have the common answer of 'get it from the United States'. Mexico's even got minerals etc. They really CAN do it for themselves.
I hope that we see a 50-state consensus approach over the next couple years with the common goal of helping people to get home and make that dream a reality etc...when Mexico is going strong on their own, then they can help their neighbors to the south...neighbor helps neighbor etc.

You have to pay millions anyway, it is for the poor. It will still take the same money whether the immigrants use it or not, since the government provides it for the poor of America who can't afford it. Added to that is that its original and main purpose is to limit contagious diseases from spreading and turning into an epidemic (especially among the poor who are limited on the hygenic things available, they want to be clean but can't always afford the water and soap and vaccines necessary to remain healthy).
Health care is good for us just as much as them. Would you want to live in fear that an epidemic is coming for you because the first few people who picked up the disease didn't know how to get rid of it and it spread and mutated from there into something uncurable. Another black plague if you will.
Yet you yourself provided the reasons for leaving them with a driver's license. So both are good for them to have.
And immigrants help far more than they hurt. People are told that immigrants take up welfare but that isn't true. Welfare is a government list that is checked and if they are on it, it might end with their deportation if they are found out. Which is precisely what they are trying to avoid, so they stay off that list. Meanwhile, they need to eat so they work. And though they don't get taxed (businesses don't want that paperwork or any gov't check themselves) the immigrants put that money back into the system as they clothe and feed and shelter themselves. Since Americans are the landlords and the business owners, Americans get that money and it is moved through our economic system; which money flow is the most essential part of economic growth.
Immigrants help far more than what they hurt. They simply have the unfortunate luck of being the easiest target when the Republicans try to blame the economic problems they caused with this trickle-down economics foolishness. It simply doesn't trickle down because the rich business owners are struggling to hold on to all the money. Go after the real problem, tax cuts to the rich and no one else. Tax the businesses, get the money out of their hands and to the ones who will use it and therefore grow the system (the middle and poor classes, and the immigrants).

They don't deserve either because they are illegal.I would not deny anyone the right to emergency medical care tho
Being illegal isn't worth dying for.
No one can be refused medical care (ER) in the USA its against our laws.Illegal aliens can and do receive medical care .They are billed for it and most, not all, never pay the bill.
Some states DO issue drivers license to illegal aliens. They also offer the test in Spanish..Not all states do but some definitely do.I think Tenn is one of them.
FACTS
If Illinois eventually passes the law, it would join Michigan, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oregon, Tennessee, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin as states with similar legislation, according to the Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights. California was on that list until Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger repealed the measure last year.

Health Care in this country is jacked up to begin with and I blame that more on the insurance industry than on illegal immigrants. Therefore, I don't feel you can deny illegal immigrant health care - that's cruel. They should, however, be required to make a payment for services up front.
I do feel they shouldn't be able to get driver's licenses, but that isn't going to stop them from driving.

' Well if I could I would take away both of them.
1.... Because its is not right for us to pay the health care of Illegal Immigrants from the day that they come into the USA in which we have to fright the health department for ours family's members to get health for ours family's members and most have work for years and paid into the Health Department for health care by way of ours taxes
2.... On the driver's license most do not know the American English and most that do drive in the USA do not have car insured and do not know the rule of the road and can not read the roads signs

Both, but the driver's license should go first.
I guess I feel that they don't belong here and are here illegally, so they shouldn't get anything, and they certainly shouldn't get our hard earned dollars.
Driving is a priviledge, not a right. Legal aliens should have rights, illegal aliens have none. Do we give driver's licenses to our criminals?
The health care that they do receive should be very minimal. Something along the lines of what our prisoners receive (which isn't alot and needs to be fought for). If it is life threatening, well, then they should be treated for immediate symptoms before being sent home for the big fix. They shouldn't get new teeth, open heart surgery, etc. But, they maybe should get a tooth pulled if it's really bad, or a short term fix for their heart problem (even a stent or whatever), and then be sent home.

everything whos be taken away to include anything of value on ther possesion. Just like a drug dealer driving a BMW. Those assets were bought with illegal activity. Or like Wille Nelson who the IRS took his stuff for tax ivasion.

Okay, they aren't entitled to either, but I will play along.
I would take away their healthcare because it is costing us alot of money and hospitals are closing down from all the bills not being paid. We need hospitals for legal people too. If you take away their driver's licenses, they will just drive anyway. A lot of illegals don't have licenses in the first place.

You ain't paying nothing, we are 9 trillion dollars in debt right now and that number is growing every second. If the American knew how to give a days work for a days pay the government wouldn't have to keep printing all this monopoly money. Yeah I say give the illegal both and pray to God he can put a little value back into the American dollar.
