Why do Christians feel that they are spritually mandated to save my soul. Yes we all know that the old Testament is myth written after the fall of Babylon, under the hegemony of Cyprus the Great. And quite frankly if you want to believe in fairy tales that is your perogative.
On the other hand if level-headedness and reason are what I choose to use as guidance, why can I not recieve that same amount of respect?

Please don't say "atheists always" as if it's all atheists doing this all the time. :/
Anyway, I find that some Christians cite Genesis in arguments regarding the origin of humans and the morality of homosexuality, which is probably why some atheists have come to use--and often argue the credibility of--that same source, too.

Maybe it is because it is a great source of conflict in the world. Their question is legitimate and needs to be responded to with legitimate answers. Although, some answers will be based on a faith or belief they reject, so it can never be concluded...sadly. Just live with one another in peace. No more war.

Pretty much your entire bible was written by jewish people. Only execption or debate on that is if the book of Job was or not...
Unless you got some new secret bible written by all non-jews in your pocket... you had better get used to the idea that you should know the bible you are preaching.

Because you people badger everyone else with your antihomosexual rants that you get out of Genesis. One would think you would recognize that fact. Go figure, huh?

I don't think pointing out contridictions in your "holy" book is badgering?
Why have Christians waged holy wars over the years?
