I asked a question a couple of hours ago about what *lures* would be good for a beginner to use. So far I've received *ONE* answer that actually addressed lures at all. People, I know how to put a worm on a hook - or a minnow - or a shiner - I've been doing all of that all my life *And* I have no problem with getting my *hands* dirty. (Would you say that to a male?) The question asked about lures. Lures, not worms, not crickets, not bait. Good grief can anybody read anymore? And Rapala dude - thank you *very* much - your going to get best answer just for being the first one to bother to respect the question. (Not to mention it's a really good answer, too!).

20 percent of the people here are not native English speakers, and probably do not understand your question fully. This is evident by their grammar. Not to mention their spelling, which could actually be an American or Brit that just types too quickly.
30 percent of the people here are beginners at Yahoo! Answers and just want a quick 2 points to proceed to level TWO. They don't care what sort of serious or silly answer they give.
49 percent of the people here are guys (like ME) and we are NEVER wrong, but feel we just have to say something to you babydoll, cause you LOOK HOT to me, and blah blah blah.
That just leaves ONE percent of us who are truely dedicated, educated, sincere guys and gals who wish to help mankind in some small way. We try to improve our BEST ANSWER percentage whenever possible.
Dear Miss Evil Chinchilla, click on my avatar now and see that I have a 10% Best Answer rating. It could be higher, but I myself sometimes succumb to the urge to give a sarcastic, funny, cruel answer.
YOU MISS EVIL, have inspired me to achieve a 15% rating by the end of 2006, while maintaining a steady pace towards level 3.
And you know what Level 3 means, don't you?
YAHOO gives me a new shiny Harley Davidson (whoops, I'm American) and I would be proud to take you on the first trip from Miami to San Francisco.

There are so many types of lures out there, and they can pretty much all be used by beginners. It takes a while to figure out what lure to use for what fish, but I guess that's why they call it fishing...For bass during the day I've had good luck with a rig that's called a "Chuck's Worm", It is rigged with 3 small hooks, and produces well. For night fishing, I like to use a topwater lure like a Hula-Popper, or a Rattlin' Rap, something that makes a little bit of noise like an injured minnow. Good luck and bring home a big one!

I just found your question and I did read it.I have found that what works here will not work there . another reason why it's called fishing . you keep trying until you find the right lure or lure's for your area. as for me I find the mann grape flavored worm (6 inch) best . when using this worm I fish it reallly slow . just go fishing trying every thing you can think of and you will be able to answer someone else's question. most of all have fun. also I have found that when you catch big fish thats all you want to catch . so go for the little one's it's more fun and faster catches

Yes people do read the questions here, you have to remember that some folks are on at different time, and give it 24 hours, try not to get so down for not having massive replies so quickly, I have had good luck, and I also had one question that I must have placed wrongly and got no response to it.. but none the less I'm still here and very happy with this whole question and answer thing that Yahoo is offering. I wish you all the best ... Good luck to you .

I've had this problem as well - I asked a question specifically about a diabetes medication I was taking and got back answers all over the board, including one lecturing me about how I was poisoning myself with soda. Hello! I don't even drink soda! And while we're complaining - there's a spell check right there! Why not use it?

Quite frankly, there are many questions on here that don't use proper grammar, punctuation, spelling, etc.... and those are extremely frusterating. However, you don't seem to be one of them. I'm not sure why people wouldn't take the time to read the question.

It does seem like people dont actaully read questions doesn't it. I think America as a country forgot how to actually read.
