I think & know it is unusual for cats to like their paws & bellies pet. My guy LOVES it. If u pet one paw, he puts the other next to it to be pet too. He alwasy rolls on his back to have his tummy scratched, kinda like a dog. Anyone else have this experience?

Cats are just like people. Well, small, furry people, anyway ;) They like all kinds of different things.

One of my cats likes to play fetch constantly with little fuzzy balls (and to be honest the owner of the little fuzzy balls gets a bit annoyed by it - - heh,heh,heh...just a little kitty joke there ;)

All the cats I have owned like different scratches...though they all seem to like the jawline scratch, the back of the neck scratch, and the back scratch from head to tail. Other than that all bets are off.

My female loves me to rub her tummy. Mostly just me,.. she started biteing clawing and growling at my mom sortta the last time she tried.

My male likes to make me step on him,.. which is some tiems his paw,.. but some times his body. Yes he delights rushing around in the dark or where your line of sight isn't aimed,... dashhing and plopping in your clear path. The evil thing should have been a Black Cat with all the times he tries to make people fall down the stairs.

once I start up pouring a bowl of cereal, my cat is conscious that the milk comes next. She is on me previously I even get the milk out of the refrigerator. I in basic terms provide her a tiny bit because of the fact i realize it is not sturdy for her. I many times heat it a sprint interior the microwave first and he or she dances at my ft whilst it is working. as quickly because of the fact the beeper is going off, she runs to her feeding spot. now and returned she would not even drink it. it form of feels as though she only likes entering into the time of the motions. Gotta love 'em!

My male kitten does the same thing, I think it's a sign of trust. Most cat's hate their tummy scratched.

I have one cat that loves his belly scritched...

I have another who likes to "hold hands" when watching TV or reading.

Another who likes to have her paws massagaged.

And yet another who hates anything but a very specefic pet from head to tail.

I have noticed that all my cats and dogs like the good ol' butt scritch...sends em to 7th heaven every time.

OK...what in the world did I say that deserved a thumbs down...???

My female kittens love their bellies tickled, but I think they are ticklish on the paw front, so I don't try it any more. Humans vary re ticklish and sensual parts - why not cats?

It's not at all that uncommon, but they only do it when they feel safe, because when cats fight (not play-fighting), they tend to go for the belly and the testes (if male, in order to eliminate competition for females).
