How do you know your baby has high triglycerides? If your pediatrician knows about this then the doctor would be able to tell you what to do about it. When it comes to your childs' health you are trying to do what feels right to you; you are asking if any other parents have had this problem. I didn't, but I know how it feels to have something wrong with your child and you want to be able to find out how to help your baby. You might be able to find out by visiting http://www.webmd.com Good luck to you and your baby!

What an odd thing to know about a child so young. Why did the doctor run this test? Do you have a family history of hyperlipoproteinemia?

What you should do is promptly and thoroughly educate yourself about this, and get a lot of input from your child's pediatrician, a pediatric cardiologist and a nutritionist.
