Call the vet just to be sure but you didn't say how long it had been since her water broke. Or if it's her first litter. Sometimes it can take a short bit for the first puppy to show through but generally after the first, the rest will come faster. Not always but usually. If you have any sterile latex gloves, you can feel just inside the birth canal and see if you feel anything. Don't go in far and do not do it with bare hands due to germs. If you feel something, leave her be for a bit longer but if you feel what appears to be a paw, get her to vet. Breach birth. Definately call your vet though just to be safe. Good luck!

A few hours between pups is common, 30 minutes of hard pushing with no pup is a problem. If you are stressing her out or aren't giving her enough space, that can slow things down. It's not time to panic yet, but still, call your vet, they can tell you in more detail what to watch for.

My parents dog was born at 330 in the afternoon but the rest of the litter was all out by about 11 am that morning. nothing wrong with our dog except they had to lop her tail as it was on a 45 degree angle. I hope all goes well.

Unless hours go by, I wouldn't worry about it. If you feel as though something has probably gone wrong, take her to an emergency vet clinic.

P.S. You can usually call a vet clinic, for signs on when there's struggle.

I was told by the vet that if 20 to 30 minutes go by you need to get the dog to the vet ASAP, especially in little dogs. Please do not hesitate get the dog to the vet.

You need to call a vet right now and explain the situation...it could be serious and fatal for your dog. They'll either talk you through something or they'll end up telling you to take her somewhere.....

Don't you have a vet on call for this??????????????

You know they don't have one big bag of water like people. Each puppy comes in it's own sack.
