Exercise and a healthy diet will help you lose weight. Make sure you do cardio and weights. Just cardio alone will help but lifting weights help tone and burn some of that fat as well. I was doing an hour a day with 30 minutes of cardio and 30 minutes of weight lifting and I lost 13 pounds in like 2 months so it is a good idea to put weight lifting in there somewhere. I also did yoga but if you are a guy you may not want to do yoga because some men think it's only for females.

Yes. Any exercise that raises your heart rate and gets you breathing kinda hard would be good. Try to pick something fun that you enjoy, like bicycling, swimming, or whatever, so you can stick with it. Vary the exercises you choose too.
You do have to eat healthy to lose weight no matter how much you exercise. I recommend researching healthy eating online. Basically, staying away from fast food and 'prepared' foods, going for foods in a more natural state, will help alot.
Keep in mind that muscle weighs more than fat, so your weight may actually go up temporarily as you build muscle. However, you should be able to tell by the way your clothes fit, and by your energy level and overall feeling of wellbeing, that you are losing fat and becoming healthier.
Good luck to you, and don't give up. :)

cardio, meaning running elliptical and all those exercise machines will help u lose weight the best, lifting weght gains muscle mass and weight if u want to lose weight run or jog for at least 30 minutes 3 times a week and eat about 1500 calories to lose about 2 pounds, the healthy way , a week, do not think losing 7 pounds a week is healthy! the healthy weight loss a week is only 2-3 pounds, it seems like so little but ull be healthier in the end if u do it the better way

That's the basis for Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig. Eat less of all food groups, exercise and lose 1-2 lb a week.
You have to be careful with "eat healthy" because you can still be too high on calories. Watch junk food, snacks and fast food. Ditch soda or energy drinks, pick water or diet drinks.
Exercise burns relatively few calories, but any calories burned will help. Figure a 200 lb person who walks 2 miles a day will need 3 weeks to burn just 1 pound. Still, anything helps!

Theoretically, that would actually help. It depends very much on what your definition of eathing healthy is. I would prefer keeping a 'balanced' diet, while cutting down on foods that would load you with too much energy that you can't use, and as a result = fat stored in body. Experts seem to favor 4-hour proper feedings throughout your active time of the day. I find that if I stick to this 4-hour plan, then I don't wait til I'm too hungry before eating and go on a binge.
Planning ahead for your meals help too. That way you can plan healthy and balanced foods into your day when you're not hungry. My experience is when I'm hungry, I will just pop anything I see into my mouth and spoil my effort of 'dieting'.
Exercising is definitely one sure companion to dieting for losing weight. Combine cardiovascular workouts with some strength training. I would really recommend that you check with your physician before taking anything strenuous.
I get most of my ideas from ediets.com. Even if you don't subscribe to their services, they'll deliver good e-magazines to give you some idea about losing weight. Oh, getting a committed partner to encourage you is a shot in the arm.
Hope this helps and Good luck!

Yes you will. Local gym Rowing machine which uses all the muscles at the same time. You can alternate between the two. 30 minutes on that and 30 minutes on the treadmill will help you lose weight, but you must eat healthily too and drink lots of fresh water daily which flushes the system through. Before you start ask your doctor if it's OK to start an exercise regime and then talk to your gym trainer who will provide you with a simple programme to follow.

You will probably not stick to any exercises unless you join a keep fit club. I don't mean a gym. Best to go on a daily brisk walk. If you wish to lose weight just eat smaller portions of everything and include plenty of fruit and veg. Try and grill your food where possible. Eat only when you are hungry and try not to have anything after 8.30 pm. You are looking for a diet you can stick to for the rest of your life so go easy, nothing drastic. Every success.

The best exercise is walking at a steady pace which suites you.
2 1/2 -3mph.If the weather is bad then walk up and down the stairs a few times - again at your own pace.Remember not to over do it to start off with, and do some gentle warming up exercise first.
