I am a 24 yr old guy. A girl always smiles when I smile at her, and will always talk to me when i make the effort. Does this mean she likes me? I don't think it does necessarily but my question is: How would I know if the girl likes me? I'm not sure if she's single. She's about my age.

Im 24 year old female and i have to say that 90% of the time if a girl likes you youl know she likes you so there wouldnt be any need to ask this question...
BUT
Some girls are very shy so maybe ask her out to a film or for dinner one evening, if she says yes then you know for 1 shes single and 2 she may well feel the same way... then just take it from there...

Just because she smiles at you or talks to you doesn't mean she likes you it could be that she is just being nice. When you are talking to her just ask her if she is seeing anyone and if the answer is no then ask her out on a date if she says yes then you have a date and maybe a start of good thing. If she is seeing someone or turns you down then you know that you need to move on. Either way it is better knowing then wondering.Good luck and God Bless

it sounds like she likes you- so what have you got to lose by asking her out for a drink? seriously, all she can do is say no thank you, but in a nice way as she already takes time to talk to you. Girls hate men who aren't men, it's the worst turn off, so show some strength of character and ask her out for a christmas drink- she'll love it. The way she gives her answer and what it is will show you all you need to know.Good luck

Some people are realy friendly and will engage in a convo if you start one, but that may not mean she likes you. Find a way to bring up something pertaining to dating and ask if she's singel. How else will you know if you dont ask? Be flirty with her in a subtle way. I f she flirts back, maybe she does like you.

It can mean that she likes you or she may just be a friendly person. The important thing is do u like her. if u do the first thing you need to do is find out if she is in any way involved already.

Hon, I cant believe that you've made it to 24 and you still dont know when a girl likes you.
Girls are quite simple creatures, really. If you just approach this girls, you find out if she likes you or not.

Ask her out. She sounds like a nice girl, so if she does turn you down I'm sure she will do it very gently. She'll also probably be flattered. Anyway, you never know, she might say yes!

Well it depends on the way she smiles does she look at you for a while when she smiles?
well ask her or have a conversation with her maybe as a friend first!!!!!!!
