That is WAY too young in my opinion. Let babies be babies as long as possible. There is nothing wrong with teaching your daughter where the "pee pee" comes from and to have her watch you when you go, but as far as potty training, I say hold off until at least 18 months. I got a potty chair with Elmo on it (my daughter loves Elmo) when she was about that age, but just to get her used to it being there. I would have her sit on it when I go so she makes the assoication, but I would wait a few more months before really making her sit on it or trying pull-ups.

Oh honey, don't feel pressured at all. Even Dr. Phil said to wait until 2 or 3, can't remember. I saw how one mom pushed her 15 month old. The poor kid still has a complex. She made the kid feel guilty. It took 8 months to do it. I waited with my daughter until she was older and showed the signs(watching me, had fun sitting on the potty chair, different things.) Anyway, I had her completely trained in 2 days, except for at night. That took an additional 2 weeks. Relax, don't let other moms get to you.
Oh, by the way, it has taken longer with my son, but he's getting it now, and he's having fun with it. He's 3.

I do not think it is too earley at 14 months. Buy her the prettiest/frilly pair of underwear you can find and tell her she gets to wear them if she uses the potty. My daughter did well with this and was trained around a year old. Do NOT let people preasure you. Some mothers are in competition for everything and make you feel bad. Children do things in their own healthy time. You have until the child starts school to have her potty trained.

This is a great time to start. After she has any liquids - wait about 20 minutes and then set her on a potty chair. Give her a fruit snack for going potty and two if she poops. Make it enjoyable and she should be fine.

Tell the other moms that their children will have to see a psyciatrist when they are teenagers. Don't force your child to use the potty. My son has been peeing ont he potty since he was about 11 months. Not because I forced him or even asked him to. He saw me doing it and wanted to sit on the potty, so I sat him up there, not expecting anything and he went and he's been going ever since. He saw me jump up and down and call his father at work. That's really how you do it, or at lest do it well. Don't expect much, but when they do, make at big deal out of it. See if they are interested, if not, try again later.

Don't feel pressured, all kids start at different times. 14 months is very young to start potty training. When she starts showing interest then that's the time to start training her. Don't worry what other mom's think. They might be pressuring you, but they probably also pressured their kids into potty training.

WOW seems such as you're doing particularly properly merely as you're. My son is 23 months old and the only time he will bypass to the potty is that if he's no longer donning a diaper in any respect and he has in no way pooped in the potty.....wait I take that decrease back he did as quickly as. i'm merely taking it slow and letting him do it in his own time. have confidence me, she'll particularly get the draw close of it particularly is going to certainly. i do no longer think of there could be any hurry. It seems such as you're doing each and all the splendid issues. it particularly is particularly particularly solid for 14 months. If she likes stickers, you're able to provide her a decal each and every time she is going. additionally consistent with hazard whilst she is somewhat older you're able to permit her around the homestead with no diaper and she or he will quickly study that she desires to pee/poo in the potty and not on the floor (this works properly in case you do not have carpet)! additionally, they are certainly waiting whilst they do no longer could decide for hour or 2 and that they understand the urge to pee. My son is merely now information......whats up i could pee and that i don't have a diaper on....i could potty which makes me think of the "experience cool whilst moist" pull united stateswill artwork properly yet i visit attend somewhat longer until eventually now i'm getting those or if i'm getting them in any respect-so costly. solid luck To You. additionally a solid sign is whilst she tells you that she has peed/pooed and at last she would have the potential to permit you realize until eventually now she desires to bypass.

Please Please dont listen to other mums. My boy was 3 yrs before he was potty trained. 14 months is far too early and you will find that if you try and push them into it you end up getting fustrated. its best to leave it till they are ready and not try and force them
cant believe that people are potty training at 14 months are they mad???
