God holds our breath in His hands- and His gift of salvation is now- in this life- after that it will be too late. Yes to know that your neighbor could die today- and to know you did not go over to them and share the gospel- that always convicts me! I care what happens to them! Why don't I go over there? I guess we get chicken at times....I have given gospel tracts to some neighbors- and most of them moved- But as it says in Jude:
Jude 1:23
snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.
-People need to know the seriousness of sin- and the enduring Love of Jesus Christ! He did not have to die in our place- But he chose to! Because He loves His people!! He wants them to be with Him, and to do that, we must be washed clean from sin because we have all sinned against God- Romans 3:23
Many could care less- and that is a scary place to be:
Matthew 10:28
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell.
-Hell is real- and Jesus Christ has a made a way to save us from Hell- from sin- And it is believing in what He did for us on the cross that he died and rose again- Salvation is only through Him!
