A film maker and critic of Islam extremists was murdered. His throat was slashed because he made a film someone did not like, much like salmon rushdi.

I just don't get murdering anyone over a book, or a movie.. or any expression that differs from mine. Seems like conformity at all cost.. what if a muslim woman DIDN't want to be covered.. in many places she would be killed.. and that is true... just don't understand that mindset. If someone peed on a picture of the pope, or smeared elephand dung on a picture of Jesus or the Virgig Mary, I would not want to kill them, or want them dead.

You really don't read the answers you've gotten before do you.
The burkah ban doesn't have anything to do with Theo van Gogh (the controversial film maker). It was just a thing that was said during the election.
And by the way, in Belgium and France, on several places, the burkha is banned.

Tell me, are you just very stupid or do you pretend as if you are?

burka controversy in Holland? Who in Holland is wearing burkas? Who is this filmmaker whose throat was slashed?
Afghanistan is the only place where women wear burkas...most common colors being blue and purple.
You should check out Piss Christ by Serrano...it's pretty cool.

Poki Poki, if I went to my local church, ran up to the altar and shouted Jesus sucks... I would would be removed... and, depending on the priest, maybe arrested and my mental health evaluated.

If I tried that at my local Mosque, and shouted the same about Mohammed, I could probably count my remaning minutes of life on one hand.

Sorry, that's the way it goes.
