Since I have become older, my relationship with my mom has became harder. We do not live together but do live in the same town. Even talking to her about most things causes us both to be irritated by the other. She has said that now that I am more independant that she will back off but she still butts in and gets made at me when I point this out or even when I talk, sometimes. Seems she thinks she is always right!

I have learned that mothes think that they are always right. I let my mother speak even if I think that she is wrong. I dont contradict her when we speak. This lets you avoid the conflicts. Mothers don't last forever, try to make things right between you guys.

Have kids of your own , then you will find out that your are your own mother ! so live with it , make things work and enjoy her while you still can she won't be around for ever .
