....E. I was supposed to leave at 6 but due to messing about on here while waiting for a phonecall back from a hotel Im organising an event at, I am now going to be late, and as he is on the tube there is no point calling / texting him.
He wont believe I was working late and therefore will make me buy the popcorn. What excuse can I use that will work?!

Its not our first date... we've been together 3 years.
He wouldnt really make me buy the popcorn, well maybe at his peril.
I was hoping to get some funny excuses as to why people are late but obviously thats beyind most of you....lighten up all of you and have a laff with me will you!

Text him now, and say that it was because he was on the tube that he didn't get it sooner, then tell him the truth! It is always the best policy, if he gets a whiff of you lying to him, he will be off like a shot!
