Ask questions, explore other beliefs and practices. A good rule of thumb : Any religion that claims to be the only way to God is a lie.

The reason you're not getting an answer is that most discussions involving Christianity, church, spiritual beliefs and religion are topics that people are set in their beliefs as you probably are too. But you asked nicely so I decided to respond.
You wrote: i bet if you removed all your limitations you would find that there is always another chance to do right from wrongs. we are born unto the earth to learn and to grow cant you understand that at least?
As a christian, I have no limitations on what I can do or achieve. What I do have is a path to follow for my life. Following this path I have peace in my heart and a forgiveness that allows me to look beyond people's mistakes. Sometimes that forgiveness doesn't come as easily as it should, that's a weakness and we all have weaknesses of some kind. Limitations? I know heaven is where I will be one day, you can't call that a limitation.
The statement you wrote (shown above) makes perfect sense. We are to grow and learn from our experiences, mistakes and the mistakes we see around us. With all sincerity, I believe you may be not fully understanding the christian heart. I can't speak to the Muslim issue, only to my own faith. It is my sincere wish that you have faith in God. My God grant you his peace, One last thing, Christianity is not a religion, it's a relationship with God.

I'm not exactly sure I understand where you see we (Christians) limiting ourselves? If its that we limit what we do and try to stay away from "sin" then I can say it's a good thing. If we live without limits on these, we're likely to just try everything and if there's a lesson to be learned, we'll learn it in the consequences. Why not just presume the consequences first and not do things we believe will cause problems or even worse? Say for example, because of my religion I am not murdering someone.. maybe I REALLY dislike this person because they hurt me or someone I love. I limit myself from killing them because I believe God rather me forgive them so... I learn how to forgive them and move on. But then one day for some reason I stop believing in God, stop following my religion and think "wow... I dont need to limit myself anymore" and decide "heck I'll kill the guy and deal with the consequences if any come.. I might not get caught" This can also be used in a broad sense if I tend to hate people different than me or from a country I dont like and so on.... It's not a bad thing to consider the consequences before they happen and come up with a better solution.

I'm not sure exactly what limitations you're talking about.
If, however, you mean things that the church (I'm speaking as a Christian here) tells us to do or not to do, many of those rules are largely beneficial.
If you mean the uncompromising attitude some have towards sin, that is not the purpose of the church. The church exists to help humans become closer to God, not to judge other humans or to say that God won't love other people if they do or doon't do certain things.
Yes, I can understand that we are put on Earth to learn and grow and, hopefully, leave something good for the next generation. The church does not exist to stifle. That is not its purpose. The church exists, rather, to aid humanity in growing and learning.
Or have I missed your point entirely?

Christians & Muslims see the rules set down in the Bible & Qur'Än/Koran as divine and to disobey them to be a sin. If they sin then they will be punished by God and, without forgiveness, will go to hell. What you see as limitations they see as a way of life.
I think the same really. Would a just and loving God really limit a person in such a way, even force their way of thinking to fall in line? I don’t believe so. I think most of this is the human element that saw religion as a means of controlling others and greed. I also think that the aversion they create for certain foods/acts/words/places/etc. is a type of safety net for them. Limiting them from experiencing the world in all it’s glory.

Limiting myself? That does not make sense. I have GAINED everything through Jesus Christ. Why would I seek for more truth when I know there is only one truth? I will not serve two masters- for I only love the Lord God- and I know He is the only way, truth and life. I cannot express to you how much more I have since I have been saved through Jesus Christ. He has changed my life completely around and I have JOY not only because I know he has saved me from Hell- but because He loves me! He is with me always! He comforts me and I am secure in Him. My true Joy comes from Him! His love is limitless!

We are born on this earth to learn and to grow
Why does religion prevent learning and growing?
I really dont think it does. Many inventors, authors, great painters, scientists, business men, politicians have been religious people. So what are you talking about?

Who in the heck says we limit ourselves? That's asinine,
We in now way limit oureselves, perhaps from your perspective, according to what YOU think we should be able to do, But that means nothing.
In Fact, God empowers us, it is not us who is being limited, think again
