The bible records God says that if the humans are of one race and speaking the same tongue, they can do anything they imagine. How awesome. That was the story of the building of the tower of babel. So the one race and language was confused and people were scattered all over the earth so that there is constraint to what they can do. Now if everyone starts to learn and communicate in a language all understand, they can put God to fear our power and strength. As you can see, many things which are not possible before are now invented and put into use. One day humans will be able to clone humans. We will be like gods. Yes, when that happens, check the book of Revelation. Except people whose names are in the book of life, the rest are tormented in the hell of fire and brimstones. I wonder whether the book of Revelation is written to warn us so that humans can take action to repent before it is too late. Prophecies are there but humans can change these, but will they?

think of what's going to take place if in the time of the internet, interior of 50 years quite everyone would be speaking one language and which will final for a pair of generations until the previous languages are forgotten. then comes a cataclysm and destroyes the internet, as nicely as contemporary delivery. human beings grow to be remoted returned and reinvent their languages :) that's form of like the tower of babel.

What you need to be asking is this: Why was an all knowing God intimidated by the Tower of Babel to the point that he felt punishment was necessary?

The tower of babel says nothing it is or was an inanimate object constructed by people seeking God. God chose to confuse their tongues as they were seeking him in the wrong way. People will never be like God. story to illustrate. One day the devil challenged God and said I can do anything than you can. God reached down and picked up some dirt and breathed life into it and created man. the devil said thats easy a reached down to pick up some dirt. God said find your own dirt. God does what he wants, it is not ours to question him. a2J

The Tower of Babel incident refers to the corruption of mankind. When humankind is of one race and one language, then there is no end to their corruption because there are no barriers to communication.
