Stories like the one given by 'Neptune' can be found in the Hindu scriptures too.
This can not be denied 100%
This is possible as aliens can visit us from time to time and in Hinduism it is believed that God incarnates from time to time to put the world in order as well as:-
God is usually depicted in blue. Unlike humans
God usually has 4 arms and holds weapons.
God appears from nowhere and disappears.
God can not be defeated by any human.
God has superpowers of sight, hearing etc.
God controls the Sky, the earth and the underworld.
God controls weapons of mass destruction.
What if God is from an Alien race that keeps an eye on us and puts us back on the straight and narrow by getting rid of the 'dead wood' i.e. those that do not make a positive contribution in human society. We all know who is doing this at present in the name of God.

I had that thought that before, just for a laugh.
A space alien captain, and his crew (god and the angels), but naw I think it's just man made.
I just think Jesus, was a fraud (if he even existed).
I don't know anything about Mohamed (except that he had a child as a wife). I don't know when he lived.
Hey, don't the Mormons have some weird beliefs ?
Not the members, but their religion.
I'm an Atheist, but here is were I found out their weird beliefs about ppl getting their own planet & stuff.

I think it's a strong possibility. God is not of this Earth.
Check out 2Kings 2:11
"The two were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind."
Analyze this and see that the chariot was the only known "vehicle" in those times. Also note that electricity was not available so they used the word "fire."
I believe "chariot of fire" was actually the way they would describe a UFO with electric lights.
The chariot separated the two and Elijah went into heaven like a whirlwind. Sounds like a description of a modern day alien abduction. Don't you think?

No. all religions doesnt come from alients that landed here years ago. are you getting into scientology or what?
The reason you dont understand faith based religion, Christianity, is because you havent studied it to understand. Once you do, it all becomes clear. God created us all and no we arent waiting for an alien to come back . We await the return of Jesus Christ, who will come and take those of us back with Him that love Him and accept Him and obey Him, and have Him as our personal Saviour. He died for all of our sins, including yours. Prayerfully, you will know Him while there is still time to deceide to choose Him for yourself. Instead of sarcasm, get a Bible , begin to study and pray, ask God to be real to you, and watch to see what happens. Wa La, you are soon asking Jesus to be your saviour too. ITs not about the hype in church, and all the man man religious stuff. Its only about God, His word, and the son He sent to die for us all. TUrn to Him now, and watch it change your life.

I have thought about this and it seems to be that all mammals have the same basic reproductive regime, if humans were from another planet we'd be totally different in every way! And why wouldn't it still be happening now if that were the case? ie. more visitors from above?

i will not say ALL, because usually a lot of religion is a branch from one that existed.
i do think extraterrestrials had an influence on early humans form of worship, causing them to think these beings were some supernatural force. wouldnt you praise something you couldnt explain?

By definition, GOD is an extraterrestrial because He created the Earth, along with the rest of the Universe, thus He is not from Earth and that makes Him an extraterrestrial.
All religions evolving from GOD have an extraterrestrial foundation by this reasoning.
Do you have any more bright questions ??
