Have you tried the Ab Lounge? I had trouble losing fat in my belly until I used the Ab Lounge. I had trouble with my mid-belly and its gone. It is comfortable and works fast. I would do 20 to the front rotate 20 on both sides then back to 20 to the front 5 days a week. I notice results in two weeks and my belly was gone in 8 weeks don't remember if it was 5-8 weeks to get my belly flat.

Good Luck!

If you are overweight you will not see washboard abs until you lose weight no matter how many situps you do. You can not effectively spot train any one part of your body you need to work your whole body in order to get results. If you are just doing sit ups you will be building muscle under the fat, to see the washboard you need to eliminate that fat.

A lot of excess body fat is stored in a number of places in the body. The abdomen (and stomach), area is a major storage site. Having a great deal of stored body fat in your abdomen will prevent you to achieve the body shape you desire. 100 extra pounds is a serious health problem, that will cause many possible medical conditions (some of them are very serious, such as late onset diabates etc.). I know losing weight is easy to prescribe and very difficult to take it off and harder still to keep it off. I strongly urge you to see a specialist about the weight problem and see if some of the new weight loss drugs might work. If you have tried all the weight loss methods and still have not lost those extra pounds consider the surgical procedure that is called stomach stapling. (a gstric bypass). It is somewhat drastic but it does work and has saved numerous poeople's lives. What it does is shorten the diegestive tract so that less food nutrients and calories are absorbed. Also, for some unexplained reason appetite decreases. You are a potential candidate as you just barely qualify for the required condition known as morbid obesity. (that is being 100 or more pounds overweight.)
I understand and have lived your problem. I, also, have been fighting a weight problem all my life. (a little less heavy but still substantially overweight). It is not easy, and I admire your drive to work out and stay fit. In doing just that, you are way ahead of most Americans who get precious little exercise. Keep fighting the good fight and remember you got me in your corner, with very best wishes.
Doc. Dan.

The deal yo.. is that your washboard stomach can't be seen behind all the fat if you are 100 lbs over weight!

Your fat is covering it up.

You must lose the fat on your abdomen in order to even see the muscles, they're probably pretty strong you just can't see them. That means losing a lot of weight which would be good for your overall health to boot. Eat much less, get more physically active and take a good multivitamin is my advice.

The exercises you now do are burning calories in the reduction of fat, not the production of muscle. It is good for the cardiovascular system to keep this up. However, you will not see any marked improvements until such time as you begin to lower your body fat ratio. If you lower your calorie intake per day, you will see a reduction of body fat as it gets eaten in the production of energy. However, you should consult a physician prior to any dietary change to make sure you don't overtax your system.
