Oh girl I am in the same situation, except it is my sister's HUSBAND!!! Personally, I would put him in his place. Tell him you are not interested in him like that. If he continues then you will have to be a little more forceful and start avoiding him whenever possible. Never be alone with him. Everything he does to you try to document it. Save his emails, voicemails, and text messages, because when your friend does find out guess who she is going to believe....not you. Cover yourself. Also, try to get him to hit on a third party friend and show your friend what an idiot he really is.

Just sit down with the guy and tell him the truth, that you arent interested in a relationship or anything else with him. You two are aquaintences through a friend and thats it. If he still wants to break up with his girl thats between him and her but make it clear that you dont want to have anything to do with him. After you talk to him just sit down with your girl and tell her exactly what you said to him. It may be a lil awkward but if you dont just be upfront and honest things might just go wrong.

I would be willing to bet that is his personality. If he is flirting with you...he flirts with other women behind your friends back. It all depends how far he takes it. I had a girl friend that her husband practically raped me in their living room while she went to the store. I kept that secrets from her and it killed me when I would see him. Then one time she caught him with an other woman. I then confessed later to her when she was going through her divorce and she wished that I would have told her a long time ago what he was really like.

look at first, we are all like to be admired and liked from others even if the person who likes us is married or even if he is the best friend's bf...so, you have first take the decision wz yourself that you will resist the temptation of these feelings, and you are gonna stop him...and you will find the ways to do that, the most important thing in that situation is the desicion...so take it and go ahead

Ignore him entirely. Obviously you are a good friend because some girls would go for the guy and forget their friendship. So ignore him, and if he keeps trying to hook up with you, tell him to email/text/write you and show your friend the msgs.

This is actually really common. It doesn't mean that he is going to leave her for you or anything, he is probably just flirting and being a lad. Stay calm, don't react to him EVER, and eventually it will go away. She should have noticed to be honest.

If they break up it is not because of you. It is because of him. All you can do is tell him that you are not interested in him, after that he is either faithful to your friend or they break up.

tell your friend you don't want to be with them for awhile because his boy friend has keep hitting on you. you want to cool things off for a bit.
If she is your "true" friend, she will dump that boy.
