Tumbleweed is the name, like in, "Oh look mom, there is the biggest tumbleweed I have ever seen blowing toward the road. It looks like the tumbleweed is going to hit us mom. Don't worry dear we have been missed by better and bigger weeds than this one. In fact, back in 1926 ...................!"

No it is just a group of tumble weed its like the word deer a group of deer is the same it's just look at the tumbleweed
