We all know of the two I am speaking about. you know..the two people who "give it to you like it is and not what you want to hear" but really they're just rude, with very little knowledge other than common sense? Has anyone ever reported them?

Oh yeah. I do want to add. Stop being so concerned about whether your answers are THE right answer....Personally I come on here for suggestions....I am a responsible pet owner and I do take my pets to the vet....I don't just rely on opinions...plus you can tell who knows what they're talking about and who doesn't.
Thank you for the answer....I never claimed I knew more than you did I? Now...I'm not saying I don't...but I'm not saying I do either :-)

I agree....stupid questions deserve stupid answers....but I've seen many cases in which people ask rather good questions and these two just jump to conclusions and start insulting.

This isn't Yahoo!Opinions is it? Most people take it for that and that's cool....It is Yahoo!Answers though. Anyway...I do have a hobby. I'm just on here while I'm at work because I have found good answers on here. I have nothing against you...I just want to know why you feel you have to be so rude to some people. While I agree that you sometimes get fired up with people asking like "can i kill my dog?" or something stupid....why do you have to be rude to other people who truly are asking a question that they truly want answered?

Like see? you jumped to the conclusion that I have reported you. When in all honesty you have never answered one my questions or at least I don't think you have...but I've seen your answers for other people. You went out of your way to insult me. You went through my questions and picked one you could pick on. That is what I'm questioning. Why do you feel the need to be mean to people?? I guess it's your freedom to do so and there is nothing anyone can do to change that...I just get bothered by people who are needlessly rude. Anyway...I gotta go back to work. Have a good one!

Example:
Question:"How many legs does a healthy dog have?"
Answer: "4"
Opinion: "my dog is healthy and has 3 legs"

This is what happens with you. You manage to take something and twisted around to make the person feel like a dumb butt and you look like a smart butthole. That is the difference between the answer of someone with common sense and the opinion of a person who wants to be an asshole.

Some idiots will report you for whatever they darn well feel like. I was reported once for telling someone that they are not allowed to advertise here (so I reported them lolol).

I can tell you that MYSELF!! Yes, I have been reported MANY times!!!! Just the price of the truth!! Kinda funny actually!!

Clearly, there are a LOT of people who come here to show other how much they THINK they know, and are disheartened the find there are actaully people who do know what they are talking about!! Although I am SURE you have WAAAAAYYYY more dog knowledge that ME!!!! LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am glad you have figured out that dogs cannot catch a cold from people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people who are clueless MAY think a question is good, when in fact IT IS NOT!!! To each his own!!! This IS an opinion site! Some people give really stupid or totally funny answers. Does that make them less deserving of answering???????? Should we all only answer if EVERYONE likes what is said?? Do we need more censorship, or are people smart enough to take what they want and leave the rest??? I guess they are NOT or we would not be debating the fact that YOU don't like some of the answers OTHER people get!
Get a hobby.

What is funny is that MANY people report me because they claim "insulting answer". If you challenge that, you win!! People just report because they don't want to hear the truth!! Too bad that is NOT a "real" reason to report!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you are saying that I think you reported me, I never said that NOR do I care!!!!! I probably haven't answered your questions! Questions about dogs eating their own poo do not interest me at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that what an ANSWER is..an OPINION???? If it isn't and should be FACT...then there are a LOT of people missing the boat on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only people that feel dumb are the people that asked the dumb question in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumb question can equal a dumb answer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not reported anyone and I do not think that there is a reason to report anyone for their answers. If you ask a question many people are going to answer. Take the answers you want and leave the rest what is the big deal. I think some people get angry because the answerer made them look stupid so they report the answerer out of retaliation.
Everyone has their own opinion just get use to it!!

One of the rules of Yahoo Answers is not to Insult other participants, and some posters do do with amazing frequency and in the rudest most vile ways. Yes, these people need to be reported by everyone reading their answers, They never actually give an answer, just insults. This is a forum where knowledgeable people can help those less knowledgeable. Hurling insults at someone is in no way helpful. If you can't say something nice about someone, don't say anything.

They're not the only people who are rude on here. If we reported every person who was rude, there would be no YA.

Besides, one of them gives good solid advice.

Of course they've been reported. Along with the guy that asked if cutting up a black man and feeding it to his dog is illegal and how to protect his family from black people. Guess what, he's still around and I passed the word along so that people reported him.

Why should someone be reported for a so called "rude" answer, because its all in how you read it? I thought reporting was only for people promoting abuse and vulgar posts? Seems like it would be abusing the reporting option to report someones answer just because you don't like it.

most of the time common sense is what you need, some people just dont have it. like yesterday someone complained that we were being rude after she made a comment that "shoving" something down her dogs throat didnt make him stop chewing on things.

but yes, i have reported people who are overly rude, but i dont know if its the same people you are talking about

Sometimes it is best just to be honest with peeps then it is to be politically correct....and no you can not report peeps for answering a question unless there answers are vulgar consisting of cursing and or abuse causing death, or against the law....
Critter people are so funny, me being one of them lol...As I watch our youngest chewing on her toy....and two others laying near me, and listening to the other bark at something outside....

If you ask a stupid question, I will give an appropriately unkind answer-see the post about giving the dog pot. If you have a legitimate question, I will do my best to give an honest answer.

I guess my feeling is that if you ask a stupid question and you get stupid answers, AND you are airing your business on a Yahoo Answers board, what do you really expect?

Not YOU per se, by in GENERAL.
