Why? How boring life would be if we were all cookie cutter images.

I would be happier, and the world would be more peaceful, if there was no religion. Maybe Buddhism could stay, but all the rest are BS.

We can love God and not buy into those fictional religious books that are full of hate and bigotry.

How boring! As a Unitarian Universalist, i believe that everyone has the inate right to believe whatever they wish, including not to believe anything at all (i.e. - atheist or agnostic). What a dull world it would be if everyone believed the same. I enjoy learning about different beliefs and about the people who believe in that particular way and why. Be open to all, and you will find answers to any question you might have. Closed minds mean closed lives.

No, I think a secular situation where people are free to hold whatever belief they wish so long as it does not harm others or impinge on the rights of other citizens, presently the separation of church & state is being breached so that means changes will be required, no religious politicking, no tax breaks for religious organisations and no special privileges for religious groups, a total and strict separation of church & state.

No, I personally wouldn't be happier. I like diversity and find different cultures fascinating. Also over half my friends are different religions than me.

No because if everyone were like me than I wouldn't be able to come on here and learn about other religions and then no one could complain about the government and what kind of fun is that???

Wouldn't make a difference to me personally.

That being said, in an overall sense...we'd still find some other difference to fight about regardless. Politics, race, gender, education, whatever...that aggression would just be redirected elsewhere.

I strongly suspect most Abrahamic sects believe that: "The world would be so much better if we were all part of the same church!" The Catholic church declares it outright, as do many Imams in Iran and Syria.

I would be happier if everyone was just more tolerant and loving to each other.

Yes, and soon the earth will be filled with people who are of one faith---no more will there be religious confusion like we have today. Habakkuk 2:14 assures us of this--"For the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of Jehovah, as the waters cover the sea."

No, I think I'd be bored.

But I sure wish people would make an effort to understand my beliefs before going off on tangents about them. It irritates me.
