There is a vast difference between legal immigrants and illegal aliens. This country has some of the softest rules about applying for citizenship or temporary status compared to other countries. When someone comes here and does the right thing they are in a different group as the people who come here illegally and break the law. They should NOT be on the same line, they should get precedence and the illegals should be rounded up as they get on line for their green card, put on a bus or plane and sent home.

No way! Legal immigrants should always take precedence over illegal immigrants without exception. This article is a perfect example on the importance of LEGAL immigrants to the development of the USA, not ILLEGAL. How many illegals do you think have electrical engineering degrees?

LEGAL immigrants are LEGAL for a reason. First of all its difficult to even get a visa to come over to the USA if you are from a poor country. So I do not see how illegals from Mexico even qualify for a visa, let alone legal immigration.

The legal immigrants should come first. It is ridiculous to grant anything to an illegal immigrant when people who did things the legal way have to wait.

ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS NEED TO BE DEPORTED .
Immigrants that have applied for their residency and meet the requirements for permanent residency and a chance for citizenship take priority over any criminal trespasser.
Amnesty is a slap in the face to the people who are attempting to follow the rules.
Amnesty makes a mockery of the laws currently in place regarding immigration into the United States of America.

Legal immigrants should be able to stand in line to get a green card. Illegal immigrants need to be deported.

Illegal aliens need to go back to mexico & never be allowed back in for any reason!
I saw in DFW paper today a pakistani in our country ILLEGALLY was arrested for a dirty bomb! See, just what the anti-illegals have been saying - The DO NOT all come to work.....the system or otherwise!

They are made to wait! They are also subjected to tests to make sure that they are not bring TB etc over.
However you can't have ever alien coming exclusively from one group. There needs to be a x amount from each group.
