Do your homework. It's the only way, especially if the class is a homework based class. If your class is mostly focused around quizzes and tests then you have to do well on those.

It all depends on what you classify as a "good grade." If you want to get A's then it's obvious you have to do your homework, but if you are content with receiving a "C" or perhaps even a "B" then you have another option. Since homework usually doesn't count for a high percentage of your final grade(usually 10-15%) you are much more likely to get a decent grade if you do exceptionally well on the exams, because they count for a higher percentage of your final grade. This only works if you have a firm grasp of the material, so if you aren't doing your homework because you don't know how to do it, then this will not work. I would just say suck it up and try to do your homework, that's the most proven way to make a good grade. Hope this helps :) Good luck!

Give yourself a set time, like 30 minutes to relax when you get home from school. After that time is up, don't allow yourself to do anything else until your homework is done. Do it first and get it out of the way, and it won't be such a headache.
