In my opinion, when you have been with someone intimately for a couple of years it is normal to start having thoughts about others. For many of us, the "grass is always greener on the other side of the tracks". The thing about your question and comments that most struck a chord with me is that you have a girlfriend AND a best friend, and they aren't the same person. I've always beleived that my lover would also be my best friend. Just something for you to think about a little. It could be that you love your current girlfriend but are in-love with your best friend. Sounds like you need to do some soul searching. Good luck to you.

hmm..Follow your heart, if you think she's the one then do something special for her. Do things together so you guys wouldn't feel distant. It's just a dream, I have the same dreams too but I just ignore them because their just my imagination even though I don't know that. You know, sometimes the opposite things happen in real life so don't worry, it's just a dream, maybe it's just a test for you if you are really inlove to her.

You are having subconscious doubts and insecurities about your girlfriend and are afraid to be more committed to her for fear that someone "better" could come along. Your dream girlfriend is "safer".

I wouldnt take your dreams this far. Dreams are spiradic subconcious thoughts that shouldnt be read into this much. Be careful.
