Carry fruit around with you, i always have couple of satsumas because they're pretty sweet. If i'm having a savoury craving, i munch on carrot sticks dipped in houmous. you can't really carry them around with you though. I also drink low fat cup a soups, they help too.

One thing I do is keep a stash of healthy snack onhand, such lightly salted peanuts or good trail mix. I also eat about every three hours or so (smaller portions), and that helps me a lot, and drink about a gallon of water a day. There does come a point where you simply have to exercise self-discipline; there have been those times where I really wanted to have that hot fudge sundae at 9pm but just told myself no. I was surprised how 15 minutes later it wasn't a big deal. After a time, you'll get used to not having certain things around and you'll find you don't crave certain things so much anymore.

Good job working on a healthly lifestyle, and for not going for the quick fix diets or supplements!

One of the biggest traps that dieters can fall into is to deny themselves everything that they crave.

If you are craving Doritos, buy one of those single serving sizes and indulge. One day. Just to satisfy the craving.

If you're craving a hot fudge sundae, invite 2-3 of your friends to a sundae shop and all split it together.

If you deny yourself completely, it's very possible that you will just let go one day and binge on everything you've been craving (trust me - I once ate 2 tacos, an enchilada, 2 flautas and an order of fried ice cream because I had been craving Mexican food for *weeks*).

Or, if you're just craving a flavor, find some substitutes. Craving ice cream? Non fat frozen yogurt. Craving something salty? Buy some pita bread, spray some olive oil pam on it, add some seasonings and bake it for a low-fat snack. Make yourself some non-fat sour cream and onion soup mix for a good dip and have it with some fresh veggies. Salsa and veggies works great for that salt craving too.

Good luck and chin up - and great job on the 20 pounds!!

Look at something disgusting. Try this site: http://www.worth1000.com/galleries.asp?rel=That%27s+Not+Turkey%21&display=photoshop&id=12896
It's cute but removes the cravings. Wander around the galleries more and you'll be wanting to eat less by the second
