IF Jesus was never born to Mary, and instead was born in today's society? Do you think anyone would go for the whole virgin birth story today?

There will always be some who believe. The difference now is that some of her friends would have put pressured her to abort, especially if she were telling people that she was having possible schizophrenic delusions.

The women's movement would have told her that if she had the child, that does not mean she needs a man. They would tell her that Joseph could be ordered to pay half his gross income in child support and beside, men beat women and their children, especially when they find out that they are not the father. Plus there is the high chance that her child would be sexually abused by him, since all men are either abusers or potential abusers.

No one went for it back then. Mary was the worst kind of sinner in those times because she slept with a man before she was married. I'd say the biggest problem that the girls pregnant with Jeses would face in today's society is that there are so few people that hold onto their virginity and therefore we'd have skeptics like crazy all over the place. Just like before.

Obviously not, since in today's world with invitro fertilization some can actually become pregnant without having done the deed.
