I have an adorable chihuahua. He's 5 months old. My sister has 2 dachunds and she bathes them every wk. I heard that was too drying. But he really smells after a week. Is there a certain soap thats good? I dont know what to do?

Check with your vet about this. Unusual doggy odor could be a sign that they need a diet change.

Try changing his food. Dogs on bad quality food will smell bad. That doggy odor isn't right. It's so true that you are what you eat. I had a friend who fed her dog nothing but Taco Bell food and the dog smelled like burritos!!! (no joke, we worked construction together).
