Why do people come on here with the intent to only insult those with beliefs or religions different from their own? Now, I don't care what religion you are, there are those in all camps who do this. Why? All it does is bring this place down.

Stupid beliefs plainly don't deserve respect, of course we must always respect people's right to believe whatever nonsense they want so long as in doing so they do not cause harm or impinge on the civil rights of others.
Unfortunately as we have seen only recently Fundamentalist Christians trying to deprive women the right to autonomy over their own reproductive capacity also the attempt to deprive gays of the right to marry by amendment to the constitution for spurious religious reasons, this is unacceptable in a secular country, the Constitution exists to protect citizens rights not to deprive citizens of rights.
So we must confront religious power seekers and expose them for the bigoted religious zealots they are, unfortunately calls to respect religion and pretended offence cried by the religious at the slightest criticism is being used to gag people from addressing the unattractive or dangerous features of religion and blind belief and excessive religious politicking.

I think its all due to being close minded and those who do insult those who differ from them, do not fully understand what their religion means and what it means to worship their God. I have certain beliefs but i do not conform to one religion. I believe that you can still worship your God and live a good and meaningful life, according to your God while not conforming to one religion over the other. I also do not go to church but does that mean that my prayers will fall on deaf ears? No, i don't think so. God, no matter whom he may be to you is an all loving God and accepts all prayers, no matter the setting. But this is just my opinion on a very touchy subject.

Just shows the amount of small minded people. I don't mind challenging viewpoints, debate on philosophy, bringing up contradictions in histoory, but what purpose does calling names, insults and threats have?

the devil has a hand in all the negative stuff...especially when it comes to insulting God. you know whats real and whats the truth...God will take care of the non-believers. the least you can do when someone insults your beliefs is to simply say "God belss you" and ignore what they have to say about your religion

As long as Christianity, as well as several of the other "ultimate truths", have as their end and gleefully sought after goal, the END OF THE WORLD, and as long as they believe that their rights are being violated if they are denied the opportunity to use the coercive power of the state to shove their god down every ones throat, you will have to put up with us being in your face. Why should we abandon a forum where we can let you know that you will not be allowed to carry out the silly "End Times" rubbish that you seem to forget would include the rest of us.

i posted a similar question like this. i dont understand. this is a site to ask and share. why do we have to be insulted or even reported for having our own faiths? most people who insult and report people for having different beliefs are just sad individuals who do not work and have no life. they are miserable. everyone is entitled to their own opinion and faith. where do these knuckle heads get off??????

I only Insult the Catholics..because of the Church Scandal and I was one for forty years...and I would like to see it all fall down
I cannot STAND the fact that these sick a s s priests are not all in jail...
