also, bangs. i have a high forehead. i've gotten bangs in the past but they just end up being thin and falling to the sides of my face. is this a styling problem or were they just cut wrong to begin with?

Ok...from the looks of the photo it looks like your hair has the tendency to frizz up maybe more in the summer than in the winter. First things first you should really sit down with your stylist and talk about what would work well for you. You can't just go cutting off your hair ina style that would take you 20 minutes everymorning to style when you know you don't have the time for that it's just not practical. Next you have to fine some good styling products, hardly anyone I know can live without styling products, it looks like your hair doesn't quite curl so just leave the curly thing for special occasions. It actually may benefit you to just take off about 2 inches and find a good straiting product so once you wash your hair you can just blow dry and go right out the door.

Layers are your friend and they will never go out of style just be careful not to put in too many then it will become a chore doing your hair, and while your at it you may want to change your color a little bit. Perhaps a little darker just to add a little spice to it, or even get some lowlights. Hope this helps

I'd suggest you don't take more than an inch or so off it. I think a side parting would look really cool, go for it :)

Perhaps you might want to ask your hair stylist about layers- they might be able to make your hair a bit easier to control? Or even have you considered hair straighteners? I use them every now and again and they do help my hair become more controllable.

if your hair is uncontrollable, i wouldnt cut it that short [meaning anything shorter than your face]...

but i would do layers that start short and have your overall length be above your shoulders.

Definitely layer your hair. It'll look great. you can also try some highlights and low-lights to add some depth. Your can try straightening it also.
