Because there really aren't that many. Consider that the population of the US is only three hundred million; it's hard for there to be hundreds of millions of anyone, especially when a large amount of them are concentrated in a small country.

Because those stats are roughly correct.
the Jewish faith has the fewest adhereants of the "major" faith like Christianity and Islam.
It seems like more because of the war of religions.
