Invest most of it. $7 million (I'm assuming after taxes even) doesn't go too far anymore.

I would give some to charity. I would probably buy a modest home, a new car for my husband and I. And I would make sure my home phone number is changed and unlisted!

disappear. most of the people i know would never see me again. those select few that would, would be sworn to secrecy about where i went.

no, seriously, i would build a house, buy a couple cars, all new stuff. while my house was being built, i'd travel around the world for a while. meet some people, do some stuff. i'd make some donations. one of the things i've always thought i'd do is, pick random people, occasionally, and just give them something. cash, a new car, whatever, just make their day. why? because no one does that. because people that can should do that. i'd like to become influential in some positive way. actually DO something with my life. why? you want to give me 7 million?

After paying the taxes, boo, I'd take all my siblings and their families and my mom on a nice top line cruise where we could all hang out and to hell with the cost of "that one more bottle of wine". .......then, I'd buy the boat I wanted, and I'd buy the second home (condo) that I've wanted and I'd be sure to put 20% of it into the charities I already believe in supporting.

There would be so many people that finally get the chance to eat. It breaks my heart that we have all these choices, all we could want and so many go without ever knowing. Great question!
