They don't have antenna or an extra head under their shirt?

Gosh. I think I totally misunderstood that Men in Black movie.

Read what everyone else has said and add this: In another country an American would not call someone who lived there an alien.

Plus, "resident alien" is so much easier to say than "person who lives in the US but is not a citizen here."

Is not only the Americans,,,ALIENS means not part of,,, foreign, not belong to.. This is the meaning of alien, when you used it for out of space, well is alien to Earth,, it is not because of the two antennas that you claim. Your claim is just in the mind of the people, because no body have seen an extraterrestrial, how you know they have antennas, Have you?

ALIEN HAS MORE THAN ONE MEANING.

foreigner: a person who comes from a foreign country; someone who does not owe allegiance to your country
stranger: anyone who does not belong in the environment in which they are found
transfer property or ownership; "The will aliened the property to the heirs"
not contained in or deriving from the essential nature of something; "an economic theory alien to the spirit of capitalism"; "the mysticism so foreign to the French mind and temper"; "jealousy is foreign to her nature"
being or from or characteristic of another place or part of the world; "alien customs"; "exotic plants in a greenhouse"; "exotic cuisine"
extraterrestrial being: a form of life assumed to exist outside the Earth or its atmosphere
estrange: arouse hostility or indifference in where there had formerly been love, affection, or friendliness; "She alienated her friends when she became fanatically religious"

WHY DO FOREIGNERS TRY TO TELL US HOW TO SPEAK ?
