The 7up candy bar it had seven little squares of different flavors like a mini chocolate box sampler. I loved biting each square in half to see if it was maple or coconut or what -it was the best candy ever and when they stopped making it I kind of lost a taste for candy the rest paled in comparison.

It's still being made but I miss ribbon candy. My aunt always had a box of it sitting around at Christmas. It wasn't that good and it was impossible to eat and made everything sticky. I also used to get those huge taffy bars that were almost a foot long. Again, I think it still exists but I don't see them anywhere. It was probably Laffy Taffy.

I remember eating "puffs" when i was at school. There were two different kinds available, the ones you still get now and the other really messy ones in salt & vinegar! I loved them! Kwenchy Kups were another thing i loved, although i think they were only in Scotland. Used to freeze them! Creamola Foam was good too! Oh, and Star bars, lol!

the best sweets I got as a kid was anything my grandma baked. I wasn't allowed many sweets at home, so going to her house was awesome. She was the best baker, and I stink at baking, so since she passed away about 12 years ago, I have missed that. Her rolls were the best - apricot, nut, and especially poppyseed. Hers were huge, not like these dinky ones you get at the grocery store.

I miss 'sour lemon drops'- and my mouth is tingling even now as I type the name! And this is not from my childhood, either, but from when I was an undergraduate student and the sweet shop was close by where i lived...
