God is Truth.
Truth has its own language to communicate. The transmission of Truth is an eternal process and the Human soul is tuned to catch it and evolve accordingly, because man himself is a part of that Truth. Communication is decided between the transmission center and the receiving units having varying potentialities and frequencies. And a teacher could best be a relaying station only.
Prophets are thus unnecessary and they have distorted the Truth, that is why the present conflict involving various religious groups.

I'm not sure that I understand your question. The obvious answer seems to be, no. God is a personal being with the ability to communicate.
Perhaps the question is "why does God choose to use messengers, rather than direct communication?" Now that's a tough one.
It seems in the beginining God's communication with man was direct and personal (Eden). But something changed in the fall, and it wasn't long before we start seeing priests and prophets. The idea of a mediator is introduced. I think this was to illustrate mankinds (in general) alienation from God.
After all, how many people really are concerned for what God is concerned about? Therefore, through special circumstances God chooses particular individuals to communicate his word through. He also gives them miraculous powers to validate their authority. This has happened very infrequently in human history.

God requires nothing. However, it is often that God chooses to use his own creation when performing miracles or giving a word to his followers. Almost poetic, in a sense.

Hi again, Anwar!
No, I think that you can speak directly to your God. You are just as deserving to speak with God as any cleric or messenger is.

No more does he send messengers, as his message has been delivered and it is for us to follow it. But earlier he send around 180,000 messengers, which included Jesus, Moses, Muhammad etc
I recommend going through following two web-sites

apparently he must- he obviously can't show himself! too bad his messengers are so pushy. I think he's being counterproductive with some of them, as they would certainly make me not want to communicate.

TheG-D WHO does not need messingers to communicate, chooses to include them in the capacity of Angels/Messingers. once you become truly involved with G-D, then truly shall TheG-D include you in the plan of redemption.
